Premier Special Events
Yvette Audrain, CPCE, CSEP

Long before she launched Premier Special Events, Yvette Audrain and those around her knew that she was destined for the special events industry. Even in high school in Kansas City, Yvette found herself heading student planning committees, and helping plan fundraisers, proms and class parties.

In 1989, Yvette moved to Dallas to study advertising at Southern Methodist University where she was involved with planning events as a member of Chi Omega. Following SMU, Yvette worked for the famed Pappas Restaurants and became the General Manager of Pappas Catering.

Under her leadership Pappas Catering grew and became an award winning operation. Events planned and produced by Yvette have been awarded the following local, statewide, and international honors:

    2009 Texas Star Award best social event under $500 per guest
    2009 Texas Star Award Best Team Event $50,000 to $100,000
    2009 Texas Star Award Best Team Event over $100,000
    2008 ISES International Esprit Crème de la crème Off premise Catering

As Pappas grew, Yvette’s own leadership, career, and commitment to the special events industry blossomed as well.  She served as a board member for the DFW Chapter of National Association of Catering Executives (NACE) from 2004 to 2007.  She also was elected the International Special Event Society (ISES) Dallas Board in 2006 and currently serves as the Chapter President. As a testament to the respect she receives from her peers and clients, she has received the following individual awards and professional certifications:

In addition to awards for work and community involvement, Yvette has a passion for continuing education. She believes that the best of the best strive to separate themselves from the pack through rigorous certification and education. The certifications that Yvette has earned require years of experience and education, and the study requires discipline and commitment. The skills that she used to earn these certifications are the same skills that her clients count on for their special events.

After more than 15 years of success in the special event industry, Yvette decided to use her skills, education, and creativity to benefit the clients of her own company, and launched Premier Special Events. The “Premier Philosophy” focuses on taking the time to truly know clients, and using that knowledge to provide personalized, boutique style service. Yvette believes the event experience should celebrate both the milestones and the unique people reaching them.
