Dr. Patty Young is a well-respected plastic and reconstructive surgeon. She performs both cosmetic and complex reconstructive procedures, including all types of cosmetic surgery, breast reconstruction, peripheral nerve reconstruction, and microvascular surgery. Dr. Young is one of the few surgeons who perform brachial plexus reconstruction. Dr. Young received her medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in 1987. She graduated with honors and was elected into Alpha Omega Alpha, the medical honor society. Dr. Young completed her general surgery residency at UT Southwestern Medical Center / Parkland Hospital.
